Form Advisor and Form Tutor Programs Latest C.A.R. Member Benefit

The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.) announced it has rolled out two innovative new programs that will help REALTORS® select the proper forms for use during real estate transactions.

"Designed by and for REALTORS^®, the innovative Forms Advisor^TM and Forms Tutor^TM online forms management tools join WINForms^® as a standard benefit of membership in C.A.R.," said C.A.R. President William E. Brown. "Used independently or in tandem with WINForms^® Desktop, WINForms Online^® and WINForms OnlinePlus^®, Forms Advisor^TM and Forms Tutor^TM provide brokers, sales associates, and transaction coordinators with the opportunity to provide better service to their clients and avoid expensive and time-consuming litigation."

Forms Advisor^TM employs patent-pending business rules management technology designed to help REALTORS^® determine which form to use during any stage of a real estate transaction, and if the C.A.R. forms library lacks a form appropriate to the unique circumstances of a transaction, advises the member what to do in that case. The Forms Tutor^TM companion program was developed to assist new members through the process of completing forms in the C.A.R. forms library.

"Although the initial product concentrates on California-focused forms, the new online system is capable of handling local Association and federal disclosure forms and can be customized for operability in other states," Brown said. "Whether a veteran or a relative newcomer to real estate, Forms Advisor^TM provides REALTORS^® with peace of mind by further reducing the risk of expensive mistakes and lawsuits - at no additional cost to C.A.R. members."
