With affordability increasing, many first time homebuyers are looking at the valley as an option to enter the housing market. The SRAR Housing com mittee conducted the First Time Home Buyers' Seminar to teach REALTORS^® and Buyers about some of the products available to them . "We have a $4000 grant for home buyers that educate themselves about all the amazing programs. They need to work with a full member Realtor of SRAR and close the deal with utilizing one of these programs to fund the purchase in the valley. There isn't anything better out there for a low to moderate income buyer" said President Mary Funk. "The $4000 is very nice, but is tiny when compared to the amount a buyer will save over the term of the mortgage by using one of the programs they learned about tonight" said Brian Paul, V.P of Member and Community Relations.
