A Piece of California, with Some Peace of Mind

Realtors® statewide, through their professional organization, the California Association of Realtors®, recently launched an informational campaign and a new consumer website that offer insight into the emerging new world of buying and selling a home.
The website — www.yourpieceofcalifornia.com — also contains neighborhood info and vital insight needed when selecting and working with a Realtor®.
When buying or selling a home, it’s way too important not to use a Realtor. No one knows the market like California Realtors — the experts who can help buyers and sellers find their piece of California while offering some peace of mind.
"The site reinforces key messages … while providing valuable information for consumers when buying or selling a home," said C.A.R. President William E.
Brown. "The www.yourpieceofcalifornia.com site also contains consumer-friendly guides to regions throughout California, from Northern California and the Central Valley regions southward to Orange County and San Diego. In addition to housing market data and links to school, health, and government information, the guides enable consumers to search for median price information on more than 250 communities throughout the state."
The association also launched a campaign aimed at reaching the states Hispanic home buyers and sellers. The Hispanic campaign features a Spanish-language Web site at www.lallavedetutranquilidad.com that contains information on buying and selling a home and information-rich guides to the state’s many regions. The Web sites remind consumers why they should use a Realtor® in all of their real estate transactions and contain links to the "Find a Realtor" page on www.car.org C.A.R.’s official website, as well as The California Living Network at www.ca.realtor.com and www.sucasa.net for property searches.
