The Equal Opportunity Cultural Diversity Committee is looking ahead to once again host one of the most successful and well-attended events of the year, its fabulous Mixer! The Multicultural Mixer is scheduled for Thursday, October 2, 2008 from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. and will be held on the SRAR Parking Grounds. Ron Hay, the 2008 event chair, announced this year's theme, "October fest" in the Equal Opportunity Cultural Diversity May meeting. Attendance continues to grow with over 500 attending in past years!
All SRAR Affiliates and Offices are invited to participate as a Global or International Food Table Sponsor. We are currently seeking 6 "Global Sponsors" for this event. Global Sponsors will have their company name appear on the promotional flier and on all event publicity. Your company's logo will be prominently displayed on the SRAR building. Global Sponsors will also receive recognition awards to be presented the day of the event. The Global sponsorship cost is $400. One of the 6 Global Sponsors will be designated as the Beverage Sponsor and will host the beverage bar.All SRAR offices and Affiliates are invited to participate as an International Food Table Sponsor. Table sponsors are responsible for selecting a country of their choice, decorating and providing food (for 75 -100 people - appetizer portions) representative of that country.
International Food Table Sponsor will be provided with a space and a 6-foot table with two chairs at no cost. You may also conduct your own table prize drawing and announce the winner at the podium. The rest is up to your office imagination and creativity! Theme prizes will be awarded for best table/costume decorations. What a great opportunity for an office event! Sponsorships are limited - so respond as soon as possible so that your office won't be left out!
Special guests and local legislators are also invited to attend the Mixer.
